Andy Horgan lives and works in his Wilmington Delaware studio. Knowing from an early age that being an artist was his journey, he has pursued many mediums.

As a military photojournalist, Andy mastered the use of light and shadow with the goal of capturing the real expressions and true stories in just one image. This quickly became a foundation in his artistic journey, one that continues today. After discovering the use of ancient plasters for architectural restoration, Andy trained and adapted these mediums to canvas substrates in his pursuit of capturing the dignity of human experience and the beauty in the ordinary. As an artist he uses and expands on these techniques in his paintings, drawings, and bas-relief sculptures.
